すーさん夫妻ありがとうｗ
今日は１ｹ月ぶりのサークルでした。
私は手話サークルに入っています。
サークルといっても堅苦しいものではなく、
単なる楽しいオシャベリタイムです。
（もちろん手話で会話よん）
自分は身体障害・聴覚障害をもった人と
一緒に働いています。
中でも同じ部署で働くのは聴覚障害を
もった人たちです。
聴覚障害は見えない障害と言われています。
外見から障害がわからない為に
健常者や他の障害者にはわからない
苦労があります。
ここはアクアの話題メインに書いている場なので
手話とか障害に関心のない方も
いるかもしれませんが
ちょっとでも知ってもらえたらと
書いてみました。
それから最近「障がい者」と書くのを
よく見ますが、なんとなく違和感を感じています。
でも障害をもった人には「害」という文字
は嫌なのかもしれません。
自分は健常者なので今まで考えてもみませんでした。

手話を勉強されているんですね。
僕も学んでみたいものの一つなんですがなかなか機会がありません。
いつかカルチャースクールなどに行こうとは思っています。
確かに障「害」という表現はおかしいのかもしれませんね。
考えさせられました。
実は今、現在の仕事には関係ありませんが福祉環境コーディネーターの資格取得を目指し勉強中なんですよ。
よく「ハンディキャップは“不自由”だけれど“不幸”ではない」という言葉を聞きます。
不自由は社会で協力し合えれば取り除けるものですよね。
僕も手話や今勉強中の資格などを通じてそういう事に少しでも力になれればと思っています。

障害者を障がい者と表記するようにっていうニュースを見たとき、とても違和感を感じました。
物事の本質を見ずに見た目だけ変えて本質を変えた気になってるのかなと。
障がい者と表記する事で「自分は障害者の事とても考えてるよ」みたいに悦に浸ってるんだろうなぁと思ったり＾＾；
もっと他にする事あるだろうと思いますね～

自分が感じた違和感の理由がわかりました。
「そうだ、そうなんだ。本質を見ていないと意味がない」と思いました。
きちんと理解している人もいますが
「うわべだけわかったフリ」をする社会になってほしくないですね。
